"You know the world is going crazy when the best rapper is a white guy, the best golfer is a black guy, the tallest guy in the NBA is Chinese, the Swiss hold the America’s Cup, France is accusing the U.S. of arrogance, Germany doesn’t want to go to war, and the three most powerful men in America are named ‘Bush’, ‘Dick’, and ‘Colon’."

Death & Rebirth 2
Mood - musical
Today's Song - Hard - Fi - Cash Machine
Bet you can't find where I used that title before... or maybe you won't care. Heck, I think all two of you will be more impressed by the actual posting. Heck, I hope to get back into the swing of things here. And to start that off, here's what's been going on in the life of Josh lately...
First off, I got Hard - Fi's album... thus the song for today. Glen says I wasted my money but I enjoyed the CD so all I can do is shrug my shoulders. We can't all like the same stuff. If that were the case then the world would be boring.
Next off, I moved out! Most of all two of you know this already. But how's it feel? It feels pretty damned good and weird. I mean, not having to answer to my mother is wonderful. Heck, now her and I can have a better relationship (she can't say I'm dumb and I can't yell at her bitch... or at least we can't do that stuff in each other's presence). Also, being able to just come home and do whatever is cool. My room mate Paul allows me to use his computer so I'm all happy and shit. As soon as I get good cel - phone pictures *snicker* of my room, I'll post that.
Recently, like three weeks ago recently, I got a speeding ticket. I know I was going too fast and I deserved it. I don't need sympathy nor rebuke. Heck, even my mother was very calm about it when she found out. Apparently, my address change didn't happen in time for the ticket to get to the new house so one day my dad calls saying they have my traffic ticket. Mom was relieved that it wasn't a red light violation. So long story short (too late!), I've got traffic school online now. Luckily for me, I don't have to pay until the final exam and I have until August to complete it.
I already did the first chapter of the traffic school and I swear, it's like Driver's Ed all over again... god, did I hate that week. I stuffed what would have been a nine week course at school into four days during Easter vacation. Trust me, going over to Hurst's that Friday was a big ass release in pent up stress. I hope no one else ever has to do that. It sucks.
Well, I suppose I've told my two biggest stories of late so I'll leave you with your internet doings. Go leaves, go!
"Go to the cash machine, to get a ticket home.
A message on the screen says, 'Don’t make plans your broke!'
No, no, this can’t be right, I know that times is tight.
I’ve only just been paid 3 weeks, 5 days 'til I’m seen...
...right...
...no!
I scratch a living, it ain’t easy, you know it’s a drag!
I’m always paying, never making, but you can’t look back.
I wonder if I’ll ever get to where I want to be.
Better believe it...
I’m working for the cash machine!"
