"You know the world is going crazy when the best rapper is a white guy, the best golfer is a black guy, the tallest guy in the NBA is Chinese, the Swiss hold the America’s Cup, France is accusing the U.S. of arrogance, Germany doesn’t want to go to war, and the three most powerful men in America are named ‘Bush’, ‘Dick’, and ‘Colon’."

"Rollin', rollin', rollin' down the river."

Yeah, that's exactly what I did yesterday.  One of the pastors, his name is Steve, from my church (one that we've been friends with for a long time) took me out to the American River and we went kayaking.  T'was freakin' awesome; it was fun to paddle down the river.  But the few rapids we did hit were kinda boring; Steve didn't know how comfortable I was with the water, which is funny 'cause I've absolutely loved it since I was a baby, so he wanted to try something simple.  I'll get the pictures he took of the whole thing as soon as he can and I'll put them up here.

I Sympathize Even Though I Do Not Use It

...and the inhumanity that Windows feeds us lives on. It's true though; I may not be interested in other OS' but I atleast acknowledge that others exist. So sad.

"This is the longest day of my life."

If you didn't know already, that's from the show 24, first season. And if you didn't know already, I got the DVD set of the first season. I've already gotten through the first half and we've still got a lot of story to get through. It's fun for me to see what these characters were like before season three. It's kind of cool to know what they are going to turn out like from what they are at the beginning. It's kind of like, "Man, I really hate this one chick 'cause she's acting all happy now. But later man, later she's a total benedict arnold." Or it's like, "Man, I can't believe how damn immature she's acting right now. But it makes sense since she's only in like high - school right now and she's a mid twenties woman in season three." Whoops, have I given too much away? It's pretty vague, right? Right?!

Anywho, since I had been watching so much of 24 for the prior two days, yesterday at work I was in what I'd call 24 mode; I was just thinking of the suspenseful music they've always got going on and thinking of the several squares they use when they switch between characters or have characters talking to each other. T'was quite interesting.

Well, that's all for now. And GP, I've added my comments for the last two comics. Just letting you know so that you can grab the updated files. Later all!

Random Thought

Don't know if I've used that title before but that's unimportant. Just thought to myself how every month that passes by and I post here, my sidebar grows by one line. Just think of it, if I'm still bloggin' 5 years from now my sidebar will be huge. Man, wouldn't that be cool.

Uhmmmmmm... I need to wake up to reality. Anywho, I went and got a whole bunch of food for myself for like the next two weeks. That way, I won't have to waste so much money on take out pizza and I'll have something to snack on if I get the munchies. Well, I'm bored and need to go to bed. Later!

Woah Dang!

Yeah, update. Isn't that amazing?

Well, we finally have Internet again. However, that means nothing. The way my parents have set up the computer prevents me from installing programs without my dad around to put in his password and junk. So until I have a fully functioning computer that I control, I won't be doing any games or website related work. I just don't feel like I have a good enough work space unless I can work with my programs unobstructed. What if I need to get to something on someone else' desktop? What if I need to tweek something in the control panels? That's just wrong. So until that computer is made, I will only be doing what I'd been doing at Sac State.
