"You know the world is going crazy when the best rapper is a white guy, the best golfer is a black guy, the tallest guy in the NBA is Chinese, the Swiss hold the America’s Cup, France is accusing the U.S. of arrogance, Germany doesn’t want to go to war, and the three most powerful men in America are named ‘Bush’, ‘Dick’, and ‘Colon’."

Picture Perfect
Mood - ammused, tired, and anxious... I'm a ball of emotions
Today's Song - Public Enemy - Louder Than A Bomb
I Stumbled onto something today about how James Mayer did this face recognition thing at myheritage.com and found out that the specific picture he had it use its face recognition software on got back the result that he looked 72% like Jessica Lange (whoever that is) and only 68% like himself. That was funny and I decided to try the software on a couple of quick photos I took of myself with my laptop's webcam. See what you think of my results:

"I am...
...a rock - hard trooper to the bone, the bone, the bone.
Full grown; consider me... stone!
Once again and I say it for you to know:
the troop is always ready; I yell, "Geronimo!"
You C.I.A. you see I aint kiddin'!
Both King and X they got ridda' both!
A story untold; truth but unknown!
Professor Griff knows...
"Yo! I ain't no toast!"
And! And not the braggin' or boastin' and plus
it ain't no secret why they're tappin' my phone...
Although I can't keep it a secret so I decided to kick it, yo!
And yes it weighs a ton I say it once again!
I'm called the enemy... I'll never be a friend!
Of those with closed minds don't know I'm rapid;
the way that I rap it is makin' em tap it, yeah!
Never servin' 'em well cause I'm an un-Tom!
It's no secret at all...
'Cause I'm louder than a bomb!"

This Ugly Yet Beautiful World
Mood - half and half
Today's Song - Linkin Park - Cure For The Itch
EDIT (May 1st) - You may notice I have some new things in my sidebars. I'm accepting commissions on deviantArt and the only place I could think to set up quick and easy payment buttons was to do it over here at my blog. So that's what those are for. Please ignore them unless you're actually caring to help me out financially and are going to commission/donate.
Not very many lyrics considering it's a DJ scratch song. Also, the title of today's post is the title of one of my favorite animes. Anywho...
It's been a bit since I posted. I hope I haven't lost my three people audience just yet. Lol... you know, a friend recently commented on how they thought that it's interesting how "lol" has become apart of our language. Go figure, the internet and computers would have an impact on life.
I called myself half and half because yesterday was a mixture between crap and good. Let's go with the proverbial way of things and get the "bad news" first.
The first thing is that I have a parking violation ticket that I indeed have to pay due to the fact that I payed my registration late. Sucks to be me... at this point, I'm going to scrounge up $20 and extend the payment period by three months. Hopefully within that time frame I can come up with $88 more.
Also, I'm worried about my financial future once again and probably shouldn't be complaining or worrying about it. Instead, I need to get off my ass and turn in applications and this time really hit the grind. Hell, I even thought of going back to Carl's Jr. and asking if I can start from ground zero. I just wouldn't want to go back to front line again... I can't stand guest service in a fast food place. Too many people come in with the attitude that they're hunger determines that they should act like an asshole.
Now the good things...
First off, you might notice a change in my blogger format. I FINALLY FIGURED OUT HOW TO MAKE IT WORK FOR WIDE - SCREEN MONITORS! And it doesn't look horrible either. All I had to do is break up the things in the sidebar to two different parts and now it looks wonderful. Plus, I inadvertently solved a minor worry I had had from the beginning. I had always known that someday, because the archives section of the sidebar is going to continually get longer and longer due to the addition of months, eventually it was going to end up extending past the bottom of the posting area. Now that the sidebar is broken up, I've gained a lot more space for the archives. I do declare awesome sauce on this fact.
And finally, I got my first title in World of Warcraft. Hurray for me! I just wished the game (which you just lost by the way) hadn't teased me when I first logged in. Long story short, one of the achievements required me to find a female of each of the ten playable races in the WoW world. And the last one of the Alliance side that I needed was a gnome. Well, when I logged in the neutral city I had logged out of now had three gnomes in the area I was standing in... EXCEPT ALL OF THEM WERE MALE! I hate you in the face, WoW.
"Folks! We have a very special guest for you tonight! I'd like to introduce...
MR. HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHN!!!"

Starcraft Lives!
Mood - happy but tired (seems to be a standard for me to be tired)
Today's Song - Saliva - Ladies & Gentlemen
So this weekend entailed some very interesting computer learnings. Yes, I know it's not a word. Let's move on, shall we? :P
So first off, I had been wanting to have my brother check out Starcraft for quite some time. The original time I went to have him try it, I realized that in order to play online I was going to need a second CD key. So I went out to buy him a copy as well. Turned out I had found a jewel in the battlechest I bought; one, the game doesn't require the CD to run. A very odd but awesome fact. Secondly, when I realized these discs were designed for Windows XP and Vista, I quickly decided to try and makes copies of them for my brother and just use the old CD key for him. In a roundabout way I got this to work. When I registered a Battle.net account for the old CD key, BLIZZARD GAVE ME A NEW CD KEY! It was awesome and I didn't have to go with a key generator (which probably wouldn't have worked anyhow). Either way, I got my brother a legal copy and into playing Starcraft for a bit.
It wasn't all fine and dandy though, I had a couple of issues with the game. First I had to download a patch for Battle.net in order for us to even access the online play. Nothing too hard, just a minor detour. Before this, however, I ran into an interesting little hickup. It seemed when I went to go play the game, Starcraft was running in a 640 by 480 window with a HUGE black frame around it instead of changing the screen resolution to 640 by 480 for the game. At first I tried changing the options on the .exe file for the game but that didn't help... it still played in that black frame. So I called up Glen but he wasn't available. I left a message and like a good, little computer nerd I continued looking for answers... AND FOUND IT. Turned out I had to go manually change the screen resolution because it wasn't an available resolution when immediately trying to access the display control panel. Kind of an annoying to have to do but at least the game can be played.
I also went over there to use my brother's Lightscribe capable DVD drive. I had made a few more cruising CDs and wanted to print my Lightscribe labels. On Saturday when I first tried it out on the CD that I had ALREADY WRITTEN THE MUSIC TO, the stupid drive wouldn't take the disc. It kept saying that it wasn't able to read the Lightscribe information on the CD to prove it was a Lightscribe capable disc. I kept on wiping the thing down but to no avail. So on Sunday, I went back and tried the exact same disc again. And wouldn't you know it, the stupid thing worked. His DVD drive is acting crazy, I swear. Not only does it change it's mind about discs, but for some strange reason the computer will randomly forget that there's even a DVD drive available for use in the computer. I don't get it.
This week is Easter vacation. I'm hoping to use the time for a little break from WoW. I want to play a few other games for a bit and also work on some school work. I really need to get to learning my guitar pieces for Intermediate Guitar. At least I finally have a strap for the guitar so I can play standing up and not worry about holding the guitar up with my right arm. It allows that arm to be free in its strumming movement. I'm pretty much rambling at this point so I'll say goodbye and hope you enjoy this week's quote!
"Ladies and gentlemen, good evening!
You've seen that seeing is believing!
Your ears and your eyes will be bleeding!
Please check to see if your still breathing!
Hold tight, 'cause the show is not over!
If you will, please! Move in closer!
You're about to be bowled over
by the wonders your about to behold here!
Welcome to the show! Please come inside!
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!
Boom! Do you want it?
Boom! Do you need it?
Boom! Let me hear it!

1,000 Hits!!!
Mood - happy, tired, stuff... something inteligible
Today's Song - Pendulum - Propane Nightmares
First off, go check out the music video to the song from this post... seriously, it's pretty interesting in my opinion.
Anywho, this post is to announce that I just got my first video on YouTube that's hit 1,000 views! Hurray for me! In celebration, I bring to you embedded videos of some of my own favorites of my stuff, including the one that 1,000...
...which would be this one!
My latest of video concoctions:
"Much to weak to jump yourself;
heal the wounds or crack the shell?
Lift yourself from once below!
Much to weak to jump yourself;
Heal the wounds or crack the shell?
Lift yourself from once below!
Praise the anger...
bring it on home!"

And Suddenly It's All Gone
Mood - tired
Today's Song - Franz Ferdinand - No You Girl
Seriously, I apparently shouldn't be thinking doing these posts when I'm half asleep. I just fail on trying to write a good title when that happens.
In any case, today's blurb is relatively quick. I'm sure most of you know what "The Game" is. Oh, and ha ha... I just made you lose it (it's ok, I lost too). But in any case, I did actually lose the game like right before I posted. The reason I lost the game you say? Here goes:
First off, I woke up yesterday to realizing I had post - nasal drip. It sucks hard core when that happens and for me, it gives me some sore throat something fierce. The entire day I spent pretty much blowing my nose and hacking up phlegm (I know, disturbing). The point is, I took some NyQuil a couple of hours before posting this to help deal with the nasal fluids 'o' doom. I then, while rummaging around the internet, thought about how because I took some NyQuil and started watching Conan O'Brien to help me get to sleep one night that NyQuil will forever remind me about Conan O'Brien. So here I was, thinking about NyQuil and then about Conan O'Brien. Well, unfortunately for me (and several others I know) when you start thinking about thoughts leading to another, for some reason we think about "The Game" inevitably. So in short, we go from one thought to the next until we lose the game. It sucks. Well, I need to turn this quest in on WoW and go to bed with my runny nose of suck. Later all!
"No, you girls never know...
Oh no! you girls will never know...
No, you girls never know...
...wow you make a boy feel!
You girls never know...
Oh no! you girls'll never know...
No, you girls never know...
How you make a boy feel!
How you make a boy feel!
How you make a boy...
Sometimes I say stupid things
that I think weell, I mean I...
Sometimes I think the stupidest things.
Because I never wonder...
oh, how the girl feels.
Oh, how the girl feels.
No, you boys never care...
Oh no! You boys will never care...
No, you boys never care...
...how the girl feels!
You boys never care...
You dirty boys will never care...
No, you boys never care...

Oh, how the girl feels!

"Judy Came From Ohio; She's A Scientologist!"
Mood - a little of everything right now
Today's Song - The Nails - 88 Lines About 44 Women
I'm kind of in one of those moods where I kind of feel content but kind of feel like something could be better and yet all at the same time I feel like something's missing. It's a weird mix of emotions and I honestly think I need to get some sleep. Maybe I'll take a nap?
Anywho, the biggest thing I have to talk about right now is that I'm planning to take a trip to Texas to visit my friend, Peter, in the summer. I'm hoping that I get to go because first off, I haven't seen Peter in about a year or more now. Also, it's always been Peter coming up here to Sacramento (and I will be anal about the fact that when you travel North, it's COMING UP TO not COME DOWN) so I figured I should switch it up. Besides, I've actually heard from my parents that it's actually really nice out in Texas during the summer. You'd think it'd be hot as hell (in Philadelphia) in Texas during the summer but apparently it's good. Go figure.
Either way, I really want to get out there. It'll give me a chance to see a different state and all that kind of jazz. Although funny enough, if I do go to Texas I'll actually end up spending little time in comparison to how long I'd be there with Peter. The man's got a job and it's with Sony working on the DC Comics MMORPG at that so I understand that during the weekdays he'll be busy at work. But hey, it's getting to go out to see him that matters to me. Besides, I was going to try and stay there a little bit longer than like five days or something just so we do have time to hang. And when he's at work, I'll probably end up bringing books to read or play WoW (huh, funny I go to Texas and might end up still playing WoW with guildmates back in Sacramento... lol).
"Zilla was an archetype;
the voodoo queen, the queen of wrath.
Joan thought men were second best
to masturbating in a bath.
Sherry was a feminist;
she really had that gift of gab.
Kathleen's point of view was this:
take whatever you can grab.
Seattle was another girl
who left her mark upon the map.
Karen liked to tie me up
and left me hanging by a strap.
Jeannie had a nightclub walk
that made grown men feel underage.
Mariella, who had a son,
said "I must go!" but finally stayed.
Gloria, the last taboo,
was shattered by her tongue one night.
Mimi brought the taboo back
and held it up before the light.
Marilyn, who knew no shame,
was never, ever satisfied.
Julie came and went so fast,
she didn't even say goodbye."

Title Missing Due To Author's Brain Not Cooperating
Mood - nostalgic
Today's Song - Smash Mouth - Why Can't We Be Friends?
Ah yes, the magic of being able to prove your parents wrong... it lives within all people... including our parents! :P
Seriously though, hopefully none of us are this bad:

"Sometimes I don't... speak... right;
but did I know what I was talking about?
I know you're working for the C.I.A.
They wouldn't have you in the mafia!
Why can't we be friends?!
Why can't we be friends?!
Why can't we be friends?!
Why can't we be friends?!"
